Marjorie Moulton Heseltine (MMH) was a nutritionist, government official and author. The collection consists of material dealing with various editions of the cookbook written by MMH and Ula May Dow "The basic cook book" (originally title "Cooking made easy and economical"). The bulk of the collection deals with the 1967 edition of the book. The collection includes manuscripts, royalty statements, clippings and correspondence with persons on the staff of the Houghton Mifflin Company and various food industry regulatory boards and distributers.
