Diary of a voyage made my Naval Lieutenant Oyarvide aboard the sloop San Juan Nepomuceno, from Cartagena in Colombia to Omoa in Honduras via various West Indian ports, at the bidding of the Viceroy of New Granada and for the purpose of checking on English settlements along the Honduran coast. Entries in the diary proper cover the period October 1 - December 29, 1763.

Ezekial Thatcher was clerk of the Parkville School District, Shasta County, Calif. He emigrated to California from Pennsylvania in 1850 and helped establish the first school district in the Parkville area.
