Records documenting the business activities of the Louisiana Library Association consist of correspondence; minutes from board and committee meetings; financial papers; scrapbooks; reports; printed items; directories; membership lists; and audio-visual material. Reports include LLA annual reports, conference reports, committee reports, and reports of the Louisiana State Library. Among the printed items are photographs, bulletins, catalogs, programs, manuals, and newspaper clippings. Bylaws and constitution of the association are also included. Other papers relate to conferences, scholarships and awards, Louisiana Union Catalog, the American Library Association, Southwest Library Association, and LLA's positions on legislative bills. Audio-visual material includes videotapes, LPs, filmstrips, and audiotapes.
