Letters, mss. of his writings and clippings, relating mainly to his career in Stockton, Calif., as editor of The Forum and No Taxes, newspapers advocating Henry George's single tax theory. A few letters and clippings concern his newspaper career in New Mexico and in Atascadero, Calif., and the Atascadero Colony. Oversize folder includes issues of No Taxes, 1931-1934. With these: some letters written to his father, Fred C. Beckwith, 1892-1905, concerning mining interests in Arizona and California.
