Photograph of a residential house in Lawton accompanied with a special warranty deed (2 Jan. 1936), which states, in part, that deed was granted "provided that no white person shall ever be permitted to reside upon or occupy said lots or ground; together with photocopies of Douglass High school (ca. 1902), Bethlehem Baptist Church (1907), and an African American military detachment at Fort Sill, Okla. (ca. 1940s).
