Copies of correspondence, 1765-1774, of and concerning Lord Botetourt. The letters concern his arrival and satisfaction at being governor of Virginia. Includes copies of letters, 1770-1771, to the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton, Eng. concerning Botetourt's death and the settlement of his estate. There is also a letter, 1765, received by Botetourt relating events in Boston following passage of the Stamp Act.
