Autograph letter signed from Jane (Guise) Barrington, Salisbury, to Mrs. Garrick [manuscript], [1789] October 23.

She and the bishop are pleased with her account of the servant. Does he write a good hand and is he good tempered? He shall be at Mongewell November 10 or 12 to ask questions. If he is good, he will be paid 40 guineas a year.
