Mrs. Garrick's October 22 letter has given her great uneasiness. She deplores all the gossip about herself, Mrs. Garrick, an unnamed woman, and a gentleman. Concerned to hear of Mrs. Carr's situation. Mentions Mrs. Wheler and Mr. Hatchett. Nothing shall induce her to marry. Burn this letter.
