Fred Rogers would like to make new episodes of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" in celebration of his 25 years at WQED; he is hoping that the Sears-Roebuck Foundation will support him. He was surprised to learn that the smaller PBS stations give him the most support.

Fred Rogers (March 20, 1928 – February 27, 2003), also known as Mister Rogers, was the creator, showrunner, and host of the preschool television series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which ran from 1968 to 2001.
