Known on WQED as "The Poetry Lady," Jacobson was a lecturer, actress and journalist. Jacobson would write to Fred Rogers from various cities in the United States while on her speaking tours, making arrangements for future appearances on the "Corner" and suggesting new poems that she could recite to the audience. Rogers' responses are included.
