Letter to Dudley Atkins Tyng, 20 February 1807.

A brief letter seeking Tyng's opinion regarding judges' seals and other matters. Letter is appended to a copy of a bill of exceptions in the case of Cogswell v. Doliver, heard September 1806 by Timothy Pickering, chief justice of the Essex County (Massachusetts) Court of Common Pleas. Pickering also signed and sealed the original bill of exceptions.
