Correspondence and brochures, 1965-1971.

Contains original, signed holograph and typewritten letters, postcards and Christmas cards dating from 1965 to 1971, mostly addressed to Lois Lehner, an English teacher in Radnor, Ohio. Stuart briefly recounts his carreer as a writer, mentions health problems and offers advice to Lehner's high school students, suggesting they read his book, The year of my rebirth. The letters also refer to Lehner's requests for autographs, prices and collecting of books and student papers sent to Stuart for review. Also includes publishers' brochures, book review, miscellaneous materials and 2 copies of pamphlet, The man- Jesse Stuart, poet, novelist, short story writer, educator, one inscribed to Louis Lehner from Stuart.
