This volume is part of a series of Harvard class books, which may be considered the nineteenth-century counterpart to yearbooks in general or the published works known as Harvard Class Reports in the 20th century. The volume holds records of the class from graduation in 1864 through 1923/24. The biographical entries form the largest portion of the Class book.
