Sixteen colored advertising cards. Twelve are for Kendall Mfg. Co., Providence, R. I., advertising Soapine, French Laundry Soap and Home Soap. Four are for Curtis Davis & Co., Boston, Mass., for Welcome Soap. Each card is illustrated with a chromolithographed picture on recto. Eight of the cards for Kendall Mfg. Co. have printed advertising on the verso side. Designed by Charlotte Perkins Gilman between ca. 1880 and 1884. Size varies slightly.
