The Amatore, or, Dwellers in Utopia [manuscript]. 1900.

Manuscript with 22 pen drawings. Dedicated to Norman Lindsay's brother Lionel ('Joe'), the manuscript is a bawdy play in which the principal characters - Ovid, Propertius, Horace, Theocritus, Falstaff, Panurge and Villon - exchange ribald stories, occasionally breaking into song. Inside the front cover are two letters from the collector Sir Thomas Ramsay and one letter from Norman Lindsay about the manuscript, 1951.
