Manuscript of a work entitled: "The murder of a city" by Marien Dreyer (whose married name is Cooper). The subject of the book is the controversy following the 1969 decision of the N.S.W. Department of Main Roads to resume land in King's Cross, Sydney, for development of transport facilities in the area. Two posters on the same subject, reading "Morton: Hands off the Cross" and "Askin: Don't take our homes."
