Five letters from Norman Lindsay to Ted Popple, a former employee of the Victorian Railways and resident of North Williamstown, Victoria who was a collector of reproductions of Lindsay's works. In the letters Lindsay gives his views on contemporary Sydney and Melbourne, his dislike of visitors, tardiness in letter writing and his novel "A cousin from Fiji", the new process of photo-lithography and living by himself.
