Letter from Edward Waterson [manuscript] : Sleeford, to Sir Joseph Banks, Soho Square, London. 1795.

Letter postmarked 6 April 1795 from Edward Waterson to Sir Joseph Banks requesting Banks to comment on a medicine, reported in the newspaper as being successful in the treatment of gout. On the same page, but dated April 3, 1794 he reports to Banks of a recent legal case where a magistrate has delayed sentencing a youth on a charge of felony until the opinion of a "conjurer" has been declared.
