Frederic William Farrar letters [manuscript].

In a letter, March 23, n.y. to [R.] Smith, Farrar briefly mentions meeting the Bishop of [Algoma], a book which will be out in May, his negative attitude toward Mohammedanism and a recent speech which was "shockingly" reported. In a letter, June 17, n.y., to an unidentified recipient, Farrar mentions a reference to "the little oversight" and the fact that he cannot meet all requests for gift copies of his book. In a letter, July 26, n.y., to Clarke Aspinall, he declines invitation to participate in a charitable effort in Liverpool. In a letter, April 7, n.y., to an unidentified recipient, he suggests convenient times for an appointment. Includes aphotograph titled "Archdeacon Farrar" cut from a periodical. The collection also contains brief biographical notes from a periodical and 5 photographs taken at various ages. There is also a portrait of the Archdeacon at his writing desk dated October 17, 1893.
