Comprises, The wreck of the Invercauld, by Robert Holding, which contains: Memorandum of the wreck of the British ship Invercauld by the only living survivor after fifty-nine years ; Memorandum of wrecks on the Auckland Islands, and a poem, by William Whiting ; Narrative of the wreck of the schooner Grafton from the private journal of Captain Thomas Musgrave ; extracts copied from Musgrave's book, Castaway on the Auckland Isles (1865) ; and a letter, 19 March 1926, from Robert Holding of Chapleau, Ontario, to the editor of the Toronto daily star regarding the wreck of the General Grant in 1867.
