Papers consisting for the most part of copies of letters relating to the genealogical researches of Jack Webb Turrentine on the Turrentine and Webb families. Also contains material pertaining to hikes on the Appalachian Trail and letters, 1907, of Samuel B. Turrentine, Jr., written shortly after he entered Trinity College (now Duke University), Durham, N.C., describing his loneliness, the school, and members of the faculty.
