Diary of Mrs. Maria James Reveley Gisborne, May 2 to September 25, 1820 beginning with an account of a journey from Italy and a short stay in London and containing references to many prominent literary figures of the time, including Percy Bysshe Shelley, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Goethe, John Keats, William Godwin, William Gifford, Lord Byron, and William Wordsworth. Included also is a portion of John Gisborne's diary, October to November 6, 1827, while in Leghorne, Italy.
