Included are memoirs and other accounts of military campaigns and battles, lists of servicemen, biographies of statesmen and soldiers, military prison records, transcripts of original reports and orders, poems, lists of soldiers buried in various Confederate cemeteries, and papers relating to the design of the Confederate flag, the participation of women in the Civil War, the Reconstruction period, and the Ku Klux Klan.
