Louisiana State University International Student Office records, 1958-1996 (bulk 1980-1994).

The International Student Office records consist of correspondence, budgets, immigration documents, minutes, brochures, and other materials from the International Student Office and its relations with other university office and departments. Major topics in this collection include the International Summer Special Olympic Games and the action taken by the International Hospitality Foundation to provide Cuban students with emergency loans after relations between the U.S. and Cuba deteriorated in the early 1960s. Also included are items from international student exchange and study abroad programs, the International Student Expo, orientation programs for international students at LSU, the International Student Association, and international students' immigration and admissions issues.
