This collection of Heartman's "German Books on America" includes two boxes of typed bibliographic slips, all in German, arranged alphabetically by author and title, and numbered. Books from the sixteenth through the late nineteenth centuries are included. Many of the slips contain pasted-on printed listings, apparently cut out of catalogs. The slips include sporadic, brief annotations in English.
