Letters to Thomas Gray (1803-1849) from his mother, Deborah Stillman Gray, his sister, Ann Grenough Gray, and his father, Thomas Gray while he was a student in Norton, Mass. and while he attended Harvard University. Letters mostly concern family matters. Also some earlier letters, one from Ammi Rogers to Thomas Gray Sr. about his new parish in Connecticut, and a typescript copy of a letter from George Stillman Hillard to Nathaniel Hawthorne offering financial assistance. Maria Louise Gray's genealogy of the Eustis, Gray, Hall, Stillman, and Wakefield families is also included.
