Polemical responses by monk Nikodim, an Old Believer from Starodub, originally written sometime between 1750 and 1782. In 6 sections, each with 5 points (pokazanije) on theological, liturgical and traditional practice of the Eastern Orthodox faith. The last one is "on the ecumenical action taken against Martin Luther". Dedicatory letter to an unnamed Patriarch of Moscow, leaves 1a-3b. There are 45 quires with six leaves and one of 8 leaves, signed with Cyrillic letters. Baroque polychrome vignette on leaf 4, vjaz headings and ornamented initials.
