On letterhead for the National Woman Suffrage Association, Gage asks Quimby for help in publicizing the convention which would celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Movement. Gage felt it would be a very important meeting "in view of Susan's trial."

Matilda Joslyn Gage (b. Mar. 24, 1826, Cicero, NY–d. Mar. 18, 1898, Chicago, IL) was a prominent suffragist.
