Sharḥ Bānat Suʻād / li-ʻĀlim al-Ḥijāz Shaykh al-Islām al-Shaykh al-Zamzamī ... [1612]

A commentary on Bānat Suʻād, a panegyrical poem about the Prophet by Kaʻb ibn Zuhayr. (A commentary under the title "Kunh al-murād" (see other title here) is ascribed in Brockelmann to al-Suyūṭī (1445-1505) -- see Brockelmann, C. GAL, SI,69). This was apparently a part of a larger ms, which, according to the title on fol. 2a consisted of two books ("kitābayn"), the first containing this work, and the second a dīwan by Abū ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad al-Sūdī, known as al-Hādī.

106 leaves : paper ; 213 x 126 (164 x 82) mm. bound to 215 x 136 mm.
