Treatise on the use of an astronomical instrument called al-kurah dhāt al-kursī, divided in 59 chapters + 6 chapters written on the margins of fol. 15a-b: Maʻrifat al-rusūm allatī ʻalá al-kurah ; maʻrifat naṣab al-kurah ; maʻrifat hayʼat al-samāʼ wa-ḥarakatihā ; maʻrifat ikhtilāf ḥarakat al-samāʼ ; maʻrifat ʻillat istiwāʼ al-layl wa-al-nahār fī khaṭṭ al-istiwāʼ ; maʻrifat ikhtilāf al-layl wa-al-nahār fī kull wāḥid min al-masākin, etc.).
