Eden, Philip

Philip Eden was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1913. He worked for the International Longshoremen's Association. He was the first economist to evaluate economic damages after someone is hurt on the job. He also worked as an economist on the first law suit where a wife sued her husband for part of his earnings. He prepared model child support schedules. Mr. Eden did a lot of research and writing on economic labor issues. Philip Eden died in 1990. From the description of Philip Eden. Papers. ...
