Papers of a Methodist Episcopal minister who served central Wisconsin for over forty years. Perry's grandparents settled in Walworth County, Wisconsin shortly before 1845, and his father ended up farming near Waupaca. Willard was born at New Hope, Portage County.

From a small beginning in May 1932, the Methodist Crusaders Choir, then with 75 choristers, was hurriedly formed and made its first public appearance at the General Conference Meetings of the Methodist Church of Australasia. It is primarily a hymn-singing choir, and the devoted members feel that the main purpose in their coming together is to spread the gospel message of the Church by means of song.
