Letter to Robert Cole, dated Oct. 28, 1845, saying a receipt for the rent is enclosed and inviting him to dinner; a postscript mentions a receipt for the property tax which must be forwarded to the head landlord. Also, pen and ink sketch of a gentleman and a policeman, undated, mounted on stiff paper.
