Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (2). II. Vocal scores--Selections (1). III. Promptbooks (6). IV. Dialogue parts (27). All items are in English. The vocal scores were published by G. Schirmer (New York, 1891). Both copies of the complete vocal score have been annotated as stage manager's guides. One promptbook consists of the published libretto pasted into a lined ledger with handwritten annotations. The others include four typescript and one manuscript book. The cast of the premiere at the Chicago Opera House, May 1890, is listed in the manuscript book and in three of the typescript books. The dialogue parts are typescript, in four sets.
