Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (10). II. Vocal parts (2). III. Promptbooks (7 in 8 vols.). IV. Dialogue parts (27). The vocal scores consist of two French editions, by Gérard, Paris (1861, pl. no. C.M. 9571) and Heugel, Paris (186-?, pl. no. H. 4608); and one German edition by Bote & Bock, Berlin (1898, pl. no. 14613). The vocal parts are manuscript, in English, and carry the signature of Harry Allen. The promptbooks include four typescript books, in English, bearing the title "Monsieur Choufleuri," and three manuscript books, in English, one of which is in two volumes. One carries the signature of Harry Allen and a playbill pasted in to the front cover for a performance of the work under the title "Prima donna of a night." The dialogue parts are in English and include four sets of typescript parts and one set of three manuscript parts bearing the signature of Harry Allen.
