Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (20). II. Orchestra parts (12). III. Promptbooks (3). IV. Dialogue parts (9). Vocal scores include two distinct editions by Ditson (Boston, 188-? and 19--?), one by Schirmer (New York, 187-?), and one by A.W. Tams (New York, 188-?). Several of the Tams copies are director's scores. The orchestra parts include a 2nd Bb Cornet part dated Dec. 4th 1881 bearing the name C.F. Starm, and a set of parts for "No 5 Duet" in the same hand. There are also parts for "Hebe's song" in different manuscript. One of the promptbooks is based on the libretto published by Ditson (Boston, n.d.), which is interleaved with pages of manuscript stage directions. The remainder of the collection is in German and includes two manuscript promptbooks and an incomplete (?) set of manuscript dialogue parts. One of the Ditson vocal scores also contains handwritten German translation. All German materials bear the stamp of the Germania Theatre, New York.
