Department of education, family program files, 1970-1999.

These records document the development of themes and activities for family days from 1985-1999. In addition, records reflect the planning and implementation of a variety of other programs for families such as Art Adventures, Storytime Sundays and Holiday Happenings. Individual files may include the following: meeting minutes, budgets, correspondence, professional contracts, ticketing and pricing information, invitations and event flyers, news clippings, and other items used to manage and produce family programs. Subseries 4.1, Kaleidoscope, the MFAH newsletter for children, closely mirrors those themes and contains notes on the production of the newsletter.
