Harmount's Uncle Tom's Cabin Company collection, ca. 1890-1961.

The collection consists of John Moore's handwritten directions for the New York productions of Uncle Tom's Cabin, prompt-books and scripts, bills, receipts, account books, business correspondence, bookings, schedules, contracts, advertisements, photographs, tickets, scrapbooks, posters, a list of the production history of the play in London, England, correspondence of and to Prof. John McDowell. Also included are materials from the production staged by Prof. William G. Bale for the 100th anniversary of Aiken's play. Bale's production used Harmount's original scenery (by Armbruster Scenic Studios), which is now a part of the collection (12 drops, 4 banners, misc. other items). Also a lecture by Prof. John McDowell.
