June Wayne's correspondence with Carl Zigrosser concerns meetings of the advisors for the Tamarind Lithography Workshop, procedures for the selection of artists, the hiring of technical personnel, issues in the print world, lists of fellows, financial measures, controversies surrounding Tamarind in it's early years (with copies of letters from Adja Yunkers), Zigrosser's proposal of Charles White for a fellowship, criticism of some Tamarind policies, June Wayne's responses to Zigrosser's publications, letters concerning redefining and refining Tamarind operations, and other aspects of the management of a new and growing institution. In 1970, Zigrosser retired from his activities involving Tamarind.
