Burd & Powel situate on the west side of the River Schuylkill in Blockley Township, Philadelphia County, bounded on the north by West Philadelphia at Chestnut Street, on the southwest by the Alms House property, on the northwest by Hamilton Village at Woodland Street or Darby Road, and on the south east by the River Schuylkill. Surveyed and delineated in January 1833. Nathan Suplee."
