Husa remembers hearing Stokowski conduct what is now the Ochestre de Paris around 1948; and the Rochester Philharmonic around 1966 and remembers the sound he got from the orchestra. He compares Stokowski to Munch and gives his opinion of Stokowski as a conductor.
