John Bitter discusses meeting Stokowski when Bitter was a student at the Curtis Institute of Music. He mentions Artur Rodzinski, Aubrey Williams, Margaret Valiant, Walter Abel, Greta Garbo, Saul Caston, the plans and auditions for the All-American Youth Orchestra, traveling with the Orchestra in South America, meeting Villa-Lobos on the pier, rehearsing and making transcriptions. He remembers Stokowski conducting the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra in 1955 and discusses a visit with Evangeline Johnson and a picnic with his family in the Everglades.
