Records of Long Island University, particularly its C.W. Post Campus in Brookville, L.I., as well as records from the main campus in Brooklyn, branch campus in Southampton, and extension campuses in Brentwood and Hauppauge, L.I. and Rockland County, N.Y. There are minutes, reports, memoranda, correspondence, financial and other records of the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor or University President, vice presidents, presidential assistants, treasurer and other administrators, faculty (including faculty senate and committess), alumni and students. Other records include histories, press releases, clippings, memos to staff, accreditation reports, University publications, campus development plans, blueprints and original drawings of campus buildings; library acquisition lists, accession books and rosters; photographs of the C.W. Post campus, buildings, faculty, students and events; audiotapes, videotapes, motion picture film and programs of meetings, lectures, speeches, theater performances, concerts, commencements and gallery exhibits; and newsletters, bulletins, announcements, fliers, course lists, schedules, theses and dissertations, yearbooks and student publications such as newspapers and literary magazines.
