Papers consist primarily of letters received, 1895-1906, and one letterpress copybook of letters by Harriman, 1892-1894, concerning his Arden Homestead Stable, purchase and sale of horses, race entries, stud services of his horses especially Stamboul and John Gentry, bills, and the health of his horses. Other items include clippings, receipts, programs, and pamphlets concerning horse breeding and racing, 1890-1909.
