Russian-Japanese War exhibition photographs, 1905.

Photograph showing men viewing a giant map of the Sea of the Japan area displayed as part of the Russian-Japanese War Exhibit. Below the map is a blackboard on which daily bulletins were written. The bulletin on the photograph is dated May 12. United States President Theodore Roosevelt served as the mediator at the peace conference held at Portsmouth, N.H., August 9-September 5, 1905. Photographs are identified.
