Records, ca. 1940s-1970s, consisting primarily of correspondence, with typescript versions of concert programs, rehearsal schedules, clippings, notes, press releases, accounts, and printed material also included, concerning arrangements for rehearsals, tours, broadcasts, concerts and special concerts, and other events planned for the New York Philharmonic's seasons. Of note are minutes with related agendas and correspondence, 1950s-1970s, of the Music Policy Committee; and season planning datebooks, 1920s-1960s, which were kept primarily by office manager Freda Hoff, and contain the orchestra's schedule of appearances.
