Included are albums containing photographs of interiors and exteriors of Metropolitan Life's Home Office buildings on Madison Avenue, New York City, being constructed, demolished, and modernized, 1937-1978; a manual used in conjunction with tours of the home office, ca. 1960s; an album of photographs documenting a "visit to the Home Office by eagle scout Allen Hinderstein," 1954; and some miscellaneous items including scrapbooks of clippings of articles about Metropolitan Life, and insurance in general, 1905, and copies of the Metropolitan Life charter, 1868.
