Major topics treated are amendments to the insurance law, 1906, and other matters relating to insurance law, 1873-1906; child insurance (Massachusetts), 1892-1895; the investigation of Web McNall, State Superintendent of Insurance of Kansas, 1939; the case of Charles Zanoli, a New York barber accused of murdering seven people in order to collect their insurance benefits, 1897-1898; the Austin B. Fuller case, 1894; and the investigation, 1905, undertaken by the Legislative Insurance Investigating Committee (New York State) into the business affairs of life insurance companies.
