The collection consists of correspondence; photographs, 1940's-1970's, largely of Riverdale Neighborhood House programs, but also including some scenes of Riverdale; minutes of the Board of Managers of the Riverdale Library Association, 1883-1930, and of the Board of Directors of the Riverdale Neighborhood and Library Association, 1930-1976; attendence book, Riverdale Library Association, 1893-1911; bylaws, 1942, revised through 1978; scrapbooks, 1934-1970; library records, 1942-1957; newsletters, ca. 1940's-1960's; surveys and reports, 1940's-1960's, evaluating or proposing programs; and correspondence and reports of the visiting nurse, 1921-l934. Also, brochures, accounts, clippings, press releases, histories, statistics, and blueprints. These records document the administration and programs of Riverdale Neighborhood House and its predecessors, the Riverdale Library Association, and the Riverdale Neighborhood and Library Association.
