Collection contains originals and copies of maps the Topographical Bureau used to propose a street system layout for all sections of Queens. Maps are basis for Final City Map. The proposals have not been carried out exactly as planned, but provide a basis for physical development of borough. Each Tentative Map is graphically indexed on a map of entire borough.
